A field blend that speaks to place, not rules. Prete Rosso 2021 is co-fermented Nebbiolo, Barbera and Arneis (white grape), an unusual trio to be blended from the sandy hills of Priocca, but one that makes complete sense in the glass. The Arneis lifts and brightens, Barbera fills out the palate, and dominant Nebbiolo addition brings the bones.

Made with organic grapes and fermented in stainless to preserve freshness and purity, this wine skips the oak to let texture and acid shine. It’s bright and juicy up front, with wild dark berries, violets and crushed herbs. The mid palate moves from red cherry into a savoury, mineral edge with mild tannins and surprising light grip.

Modern in build, but traditional in soul. A deliciously individual take from a winery of classic cuvees.
