Montesantoccio "Miss Rose" Verona Rosato 2025

This is one of the only regions in Italy that do a more “Provence Rose” style of Rosatro. Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara are the grapes behind Valpolicella and Amarone, some of Italy's most famous reds. Montesantoccio, based in Fumane in the hills north of Verona, takes this classic blend in a different direction with Miss Rose, a fresh and elegant organic rosato.

The organically farmed grapes spend just 5 hours on their skins, long enough to pick up a delicate pink colour and a little texture. They are then pressed, fermented and aged in stainless steel to keep everything crisp and pure, with minimal sulfur added.

Expect wild strawberry, watermelon and red cherry, with citrus zest and a light almond note on the finish. Dry, crisp and refreshing, with a subtle savoury edge that makes it very food friendly.

A rosé with Italian pedigree and an easy charm. Perfect from the first warm day of spring through to the end of summer.

Serve well chilled (8-10°C) with prosciutto and melon, antipasti, seafood risotto, grilled fish or pizza bianca. Equally good on its own as an aperitivo.
