Malagousia 80%, 20% Xinomavro (blanc de noir, seperate ferment, aged in stainless 3 months on lees, finish 2 months in old French barrique)

Organic Greek white wine with great minerality soul tension. Stalisma is Kamara Pure’s expression of Malagousia, grown just outside Thessaloniki and gently shaped into something mineral, textural, and quietly complex.

It’s mostly Malagousia with a splash of Xinomavro made blanc de noir. Fermented separately, blended with care, then left to rest. Three months in stainless on lees, followed by a short exhale in old barrique. The result is a wine that hums softly but doesn’t whisper.

Lemon pith, white nectarine, salty melon and a flicker of almond. There’s a lean frame, but it carries weight where it counts. Bright up front, with a calm, herbal finish that lingers in just the right way.

The Kioutsoukis family behind Kamara have been making wine naturally for years, working biodynamically before most of the region was even talking about it. This wine is a still point. "Stalisma" means pause, and that’s exactly how it drinks. Slow, grounded, quietly golden.
