A radical reinterpretation of one of Greece’s most historic wines. Kamara Pure Retsina is not a white but a “Chilled Red PINE” 2024. By turning tradition on its head it is proof that Retsina can be vibrant, refreshing, and soulful.

Crafted from organically grown Xinomavro red grapes with a light 5-day maceration, then gently pressed. 

During fermentation, Aleppio pine resin from the Evia Islands is added - not as an industrial flavoring, but in its purest, natural form, suspended in a cloth bag. 

A touch of 5% skin-contact Muscat lifts the aromatics, while 8 months of lees contact (with bâtonnage, no fining or filtration) adds texture and depth.

The result is an icredibly bright, chilled red that hums with guava, pink grapefruit, red currant, and the mildly present resinous pine, with a dry Mediterranean spice finish. A whisper of salinity ties it all together; uniquely Greek, utterly clean & modern, and unmistakably Kamara.

Greek natural Retsina, revived and reimagined. Serve lightly chilled with your either your Saganaki or Souvlaki (or anything else for that matter!) for a bright, delicious twist on tradition.
