Organic, minimal intervention, unfiltered, unfined, very low sulphur

If you’re not simply charmed by the label, you’ll certainly appreciate what is kept inside the glass. Austria’s lovely little St. Laurent is prioritised for fruit and freshness here - sour cherry and cranberry, bit of fresh earth and peppercorn. Simple wine making - whole bunches sorted and carbonically macerated in closed fermenters, in a very slow and cold fermentation in the old cellar. After 3 weeks the whole bunches are pressed into old oak vats, finishing fermentation as juice. Ageing takes place in 500-litre vats for 4 months. Fin! Lovers of Beaujolais will appreciate a wine like this. Christina Netzl has been working her family vineyards since 2007 focusing on the typical style of their unique Carnuntum region. They have been certified organic since 2018.
