The wines always catch the eye with their colourful bugs, a visual reference to the happy microbiology of the vineyard. Inside the wines are always cooling, refreshing and a keen snapshot of the area, Carnuntum in Austria. They are joyful wines through and through. The Gruner Veltliner is full of golden apples, a cider like dry-ness, lemon oil and peel. We imagine enjoying some Christmas ham with a glass of this, or perhaps fish and chips by the sea.

Christina Netzl, the happy, go lucky winemaker behind our Christina wines, is all at once a strong, sweet and talented character. She grew up on a farm that grew grain, raised animals, sold vegetables and of course, cultivating vines.

“Over the years, I’ve also been experimenting with different low-intervention methods in the cellar and the vineyard has been managed organically since 2013. I fell in love with them and the living wines they yield, and I ended up adding my own range of natural wines to the more classical ones ‘inherited’ from my father.”
