This is Nebbiolo with both edge and ease. Cascina Val del Prete Nebbiolo d’Alba 2023 comes from the hills of Priocca in Piemonte, where the fruit grows at 250 metres above sea level and gets a full 25-day maceration on skins. The result? All the grip and perfume you want, with none of the fuss.

Raspberry, rose, cherry skin and just enough earthy backbone to keep things grounded. Aged for 12 months in old Slovenian barrels and finished in bottle for six, it’s a wine that’s had time to come together but still carries the energy and vibrancy of its youth.

This is fruit-driven, organically farmed Nebbiolo that feels classic without being rigid. A great dinner wine, especially with anything involving mushrooms, truffles, or a good ragù.
