Chardonnay from this part of the world is often associated with heavy oak, high alcohol and low acid but Carparzo has managed to eschew all of that deftly like a fun little otter playing in a stream. Peaches and sunshine streaming through the glass, lifted with a smidge of some aromatic varieties to elevate its freshness. No oak, just sat in stainless, so this is for lovers of fruit quality and ease. Like sitting and watching the rolling, verdant hills of Tuscany, a plate of fresh fish and a garden salad nearby to snack on. Take a sip, you deserve it.
