A true expression of Tuscan tradition. Caparzo “Rosso di Montalcino” 2024 is a premium DOCG Sangiovese made from three distinct plots of sandy clay soils sitting between 220 and 270 metres above sea level.

Fermented over seven days with five days on skins, then matured for one year in old large 500 litre Slavonian oak barrels. This is a very polished, structured Montalcino with bright cherry fruit, earthy undertones, and fine savoury tannin. This wine will come across as a “soul beyond its years” a very fine example of this style of sangiovese from one of the largest land owners of Brunello di Montalcino and one of the first to produce it.
