There are Brunellos, and then there are the ones you remember. Caparzo’s Brunello di Montalcino 2021 is the latter. This is Sangiovese at full flight from the hills of Montalcino, grown 300 metres above sea level and aged with intent. Two years in large Slovenian oak, then four months in bottle before release.

It's everything you want from a Brunello. Deep cherry, dried fig, and balsamic spice, with that earthy Tuscan heartbeat. The tannins are firm but polished, the acid structure keeps it alive, and the finish just hums with quiet authority.

A proper wine for slow meals, quiet nights, or loud celebrations. Serve it with aged cheeses, braised meats, or anything that feels like a reward.

This is the Tuscan king, bottled. Let it reign.
