This rosato comes from Nerello Mascalese grown at 600 metres on the volcanic soils of Castiglione di Sicilia, on Etna's north side.

The grapes spend just 5 hours on their skins, picking up a delicate salmon pink colour, before fermenting spontaneously. The wine then ages for 5 months in stainless steel, keeping it fresh, pure and vibrant.

Expect wild strawberry, cherry and blood orange, with pink grapefruit, a hint of dried herbs and a saline, mineral finish that speaks of its volcanic home.
